Green Canyon Eco Art Resort: Where Nature Meets Art

Green Canyon is a perfect example of how nature and art interacts harmoniously amazing. Every piece of furniture is very well conceptualized which resulted to such works of art. Fun fact: some of the furniture materials used are from the trees destroyed during typhoon Ondoy. This is building something beautiful out of a disaster, and a great way of recycling and leaving nothing to waste.

Upon entering the hotel, your eyes will feast on the many wooden masterpiece scattered around the reception area.

Well, yes the place is also surrounded by different kinds of arts and craft. But there is more than meets the eye with Green Canyon.

It is at least an hour or 2 of drive from Manila to get to the resort in Clark, Pampanga and it is only accessible to private cars. They can arrange a pickup transport for you should you take a bus to the place.

They have 2 different pools you can enjoy during your stay.

The Wave Pool

The waves are pretty neat and exciting with good simulation of sea waves. If you can’t swim, it can be a bit overwhelming. They have different levels ranging from 3 feet to 7 feet depending on your preference.

To get to the Wave pool, you will have to take a sweet journey crossing their beautiful hanging bridge first.

The bridge is crossing the Sacobia River where adventurers can also choose to wander around.

The Symphony Pool

If you prefer a pool of tranquility, the Symphony pool is just for you. It is also a place for your todlers to take a dip as they have a mini kiddie pool on the side. The pool is also located a few steps from the Palette restaurant and a mini play place.

The Palette restaurant offers complimentary breakfast buffet and welcome drinks. The place is also near the garden events area which you can have a set up for various occasions, like weddings.

There are plenty of activities you can do in the resort, like biking, jogging, hiking, and riding an ATV. Unfortunately for us, the bikes are currently under repair and maintenance and the hike to Mt. Arayat is only available on days without raining due to the path being extremely muddy as they said and you can’t go alone without a guide. Guests may also opt to bring their own mountain bikes and ride all the way up in a cool fashion. They also offer bonfires with hotdogs and marshmallows.

The Green Canyon Eco Art Resort is literally a breath of fresh air from the usual resorts we have due to its dedication to mother nature and art. It is ideal for the whole family as they have rooms with bunk bends with the team building/retreat feels. The room price range starts from 5,400 to 18,000 per day (prices are higher on weekends and holidays).

Side Notes: Mobile Network reception in the place is dead but their WiFi is super fast to compensate. Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the resort (corkage fees apply). There are golf carts available for transport from hotel to Symphony Pool and back.
