Empacho: Not your ordinary Filipino Restaurant

Empacho is among the best Filipino restaurants along the wide selection of restos in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The rustic theme gives out the chill and homey feel that would best suit an ideal weekend bonding with family and friends over great food and drinks.

As their tagline (or more of a promise) says, “Come light, leave heavy” is very accurate as you will just find yourself indulging over the amazing twists on Filipino food that they offer. It would be worth extending your cheat day for these wonderful treats.

We’ve listed down some of our favorites from their menu and definitely try them out yourself.
1. Crispy Pork Kare kare – an all time favorite among Filipino cuisine has been given a delightful twist by bringing in another staple dish (Bagnet) into the mix. Plus, the sauce is really tasty that you will no longer request bagoong (shrimp paste) as the sauce itself if more than enough.

2. Crispy Pata – crispy on the outside and oh so juicy on the inside. Need we say more?

3. Sizzling Tanigue Steak – don’t like fish? Well this will change your mind with its sweet and savory taste that everybody will appreciate.

4. Baked Oysters – because we just love oysters
Aside from the food, the also serve a long list of alcoholic beverages and cocktails.

You can find them at 2/F 170 Tomas Morato corner Don Roces Avenue, Quezon City and reach them through 0917-467-1816.  Open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. (Monday to Thursday) and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. (Friday to Sunday)
