Eagle Point Resort in Batangas + Sepoc Beach Review

Batangas has easily become one of the top destinations near the metro due to its proximity and its beautiful resorts and beaches awaiting to be discovered. With a wide number of options to spend your holiday on, Eagle Point Resort sure standsout as they offer a lot on the table and truly deserving a spot on your bucket list.

Secluded from the many resorts in Batangas, it is a safe haven away from the bustling stressful city. Our idea of a vacation is to stray away from the crowd and enjoy a bit of privacy every now and then while still having plenty of options to have fun (Eagle Point Resort gives exactly that). It only takes approximately 3-4 hours to get to this perfect weekend destination – so worth the long drive to get there!

The entire place is very comforting and you’ll immediately feel at home with the friendly staff to welcome you with smiles. Guests are also served with refreshing drinks perfect to start off the day.

With all the facilities and amenities of the resort, it is highly recommended for company outings and as a team building venue.
The rooms are very cozy and spacey with cute little bird designs.

To match the overall theme, every room has a portrait of a beautiful bird hanging over the white painted walls. The rooms are fully air-conditioned with satellite TV.

We had the Mediterranean inspired Terrace Hotel room with seaside balcony – the newest addition to Eagle Point Resort.

The Double Level Pool will give you a front show seat for the amazing ocean view and is a great spot to see the sunset.

If you’re looking to swim in an aquarium filled with marine life and baby sharks – yes, BABY SHARKS! Then look no further as Eagle Point has got you covered with their Saltwater Reef Pool

The pool is an ideal training ground for novice scuba divers and snorkelers.

Our favorite from this trip to Eagle Point Resort is the access to the private island and beach – Sepoc Island!

Sepoc Island is at least  a 15 to 20 minute boat ride from the resort (2,464/small boat – roundtrip with maximum of 8 persons).
The white sand beach is serene and the water is so clear with different shades of blue.

Enjoy great food with the scenic ocean view as resort has an in-house open-sided dining and function area (accommodates 60-100 guests).

A five minute hike on top of a hill, you will see the breathtaking beauty and the entirety of the Sepoc Island.

As we mentioned, there are a LOT of activities Eagle Point has in store for you. Their Dive Shop is well equipped of high standard gears you can use for these activities.

– Snorkeling [200/day]

– Kayaking [504/hour]

– Fishing [224/fishing rod]

– Game Room [Billiards and Table Tennis]

– Scuba Diving

– Double Level Swimming Pool

– Saltwater Reef Pool [swim with baby sharks]

– Banana Boat Ride

Overall, Eagle Point Resort is a great choice for spending your quality time with friends and/or family.

Alcoholic beverages are allowed inside the resort but with corkage fee. The accommodation has free breakfast included and they have a restaurant and bar to get food and drinks for very reasonable prices.
